MATERIALS
CAIMAN CROCODILE
We craft boots from several cuts of this crocodilian: belly, ultra belly, and hornback. Ultra belly is ultra smooth; belly is only slightly less so. Abrasion-resistant hornback is heavily textured, with deep, tall ridges. The most recent caiman in the Lucchese family, giant caiman has larger tiles than the other varieties. All these crocodilians hold firm around the foot, even after repeated wear.
DETAIL CONSTRUCTION
Barn boots are performance footwear, built with technology that allows them to stand up to the toughest conditions — and look good doing it. Work boots handcrafted from the premium materials you expect from Lucchese, they fit well and keep feet comfortable all day. We use real leather inside and out and a padded heel and insole that’s a single piece, so you can easily take it out to let it dry or replace it when it becomes worn. Oil- and slip-resistant tread means safer traction in slick places. Mud-releasing technology allows the rubber outsole to shed mud with every step.
CARE
INSTRUCTIONS
Clean: Remove loose dust or dirt with damp cloth or soft brush. For heavily soiled products use Leather Cleaner (see care instructions) Condition: Apply Leather Conditioner to your boots liberally, let dry. Polish: Apply neutral or color matching cream-based polish and buff with a soft cloth to a shine.
